The Dessert Table {Wedding Pictures}

Jason's family is from the Pittsburgh, PA area. If you're from there or have been to weddings there, you've heard of a cookie table.

A Cookie Table is essentially a huge table full of cookies of all kinds that the families of the bride and groom prepare before the wedding. It was such a neat idea to include our families that way, so we expanded cookies to include any kind of dessert since my family is from South Carolina and has a tendency for pies and pound cakes.

Instead of buying personalized favors, we put together little bags of coffee and provided take-out boxes for the dessert!

In lieu of a big wedding cake we just cut a cupcake (and put one away for next year).

Something old, something new... {Wedding Pictures}

Something Old: My great-grandmother's handkerchief (It came in very handy)

Something New: The Dress... of course!

Something Borrowed: My grandmother's ring. When my grandfather passed away she combined their wedding set into one ring and gave it to me to wear. Also, my sister's thumbprint ring. When Daddy died she bought a necklace with his thumbprint and I wore it also.

Something Blue: We cut a blue heart from one of my dad's old t-shirts and my sister's pinned it into my dress for me. I really wanted to do everything I could to have him with me that day.

Our Family that couldn't be with us.

Wine Ceremony

 SweetSouthernGirl

Welcome back to Wino Wednesday with Aubrey from High-Heeled Love and Myself!

Three Simple Rules:

1) Take the Button
2) Write a Wine-related Post
3) Link-up!

Sorry I'm late to the game today Winos! I had a little too much fun last night with my Jens and my head is reminding me about it this morning! On a very happy note though, I got Wedding Pictures back! So today I thought I'd share a few pics of the Wine Ceremony!

Today is our month-aversary! I think that's cause to celebrate with a bottle, don't you think?
Happy Wednesday Winos!
