I love Chaotic Goddess Swaps. They always have such fun themes! I was soo excited to participate in the PJ Party Swap this month. I was paired with Angie from My So-Called Chaos and half of the dynamic duo behind this great swap centered blog!

July Cara Box Reveal

I got home yesterday to find my July Cara Box from Jennifer waiting on me! I absolutely love everything she sent me!

I'm fascinated by the Seven Year Pen. Needless to say I'm going to test it. I started using it last night to address invitations to my sister's graduation party. Only 16 days until she's an RN!

I love the moleskin books. I was just thinking yesterday that I needed something to carry in my purse for post ideas and here they are! I love the Elizabeth Edwards quote. The bracelet is adorable, and I can't wait to try out the soap. It smells great and the packaging says it's really good for shaving.

This was a great theme, and an awesome package. Thanks Jennifer!

May Cara Box

I'm so in love with Cara Box. Every month I tell myself I'm not going to sign-up "next month" to save money, but I always do! I love the themes lately!

This month was a Regional Theme so senders picked items that were "regional" for them that they thought their partners would like. I sent to Brandi from A Brooklyn State of Mind.

I got my box from Jennifer at Unscripted, and boy did she spoil me! Look at all of my goodies!

Jennifer is from Birmingham, AL (another southern girl) and she sent me a box full of goodies that were all locally made in her town! Some of my favorite things were the soaps, the honey, and of course, roasted peanuts!

I just love everything that Jennifer sent. If you've never signed-up for Cara Box you really should check it out! Wifessionals posts the theme at the beginning of each month and you will have a few days to sign-up. You'll get the matches and packages go out on the 20th. It's so much fun and you meet so many new bloggers!

Mug O' Comfort Swap

It's time to link-up with Chaotic Goddess Swaps to show you what I go in the Mug O'Comfort Swap! I was paired with Jennee Thompson. Jennee is a really neat girl who actually finished and published a book so I'm super jealous. I enjoyed getting to know her! I shared with her that there was the possibility that J could go to France for work in 2014 and I am hoping that he does because I could go with him. So all of my day dreaming is about living in France, drinking wine, and seeing a new country. Nothing is for sure, but I can dream!

So she sent me a cute mug, some "french" roast coffee K-cups and decorative "french/wine" themed dessert plates. She also made me a couple of darling little magnets.

I also discovered something recently. Herbal Tea doesn't actually have "tea" in it. Well maybe it can, theoretically, but most don't. The tea that I love to drink on the regular doesn't. This is probably a known fact to many of you, but it is new to me and I am now on a mission to start blending my own teas. Once I started looking into the different herbs in teas I realized that I could buy a mesh tea infuser and create my own blends. I am so excited I can hardly stand it!

April Cara Box #GoGreen

So I participated in the Cara Box Swap over at Wifessionals this month. I was paired with two lovely ladies. I sent to Tiara from Ice Cream and French Fries and I received from Lauren at The Crafty Ginger.

I had some trouble this month. The theme was #GoGreen and shopping for that was a challenge. For me "Go Green" is all about re-purposing and recycling. Keep an eye out for Tiara to see what kind of box I came up with!

Heather sent me Dora the Explorer Fruit Snacks, a Dairy Milk Chocolate Bar, a Dark Blue Bracelet and a Dark Blue Zipper Pouch. I'm not gonna lie, the fruit snacks are gone already.

I signed up for the #VDAYMUGSWAP with Alissa and Caroline. I was partners with Pam from Pamela's Heavenly Treats! She absolutely spoiled me!

The BEST! I have a new mug, Pam's Marshmallow Pops and Reese's! You know I'm addicted!

I had fun with this swap. I'm looking forward to a laid back night with my sweetie. We are getting Papa Murphy's and opening this bottle of Biltmore's Malbec we got in December.

The cool thing about this swap was that I signed up so long before we actually sent packages, I forgot what was on my wishlist! I loved all of it! Especially the adorable notecards!

The theme this month was Holiday Sparkle. I had a lot of fun with Brenda's and I love what I got from Tonya. (Side note: There was also a large bag of M&Ms in my package.... they didn't make it to the picture.)

I'm sorry this isn't a great reveal post, but with the holiday, getting engaged, and going back to work, I've just let some things get away from me. I'm doing some real work today though! I can't wait for the official launch of the Wino Wednesday Link-Up tomorrow! It's going to be great :)

Tacky Ornament Swap Reveal!

Remember last month when I announced the Ornament Swap I was hosting with Aubrey and Stephany? Well it's time for the big reveal!

I got ornaments from Stephany and she REALLY spoiled me!

 

I love everything! The Tacky Sweater ornament is awesome, and the Palmetto Christmas Tree is so perfect! Stephany and Aubrey are both fellow Palmetto Bloggers!

The Pink Ball Ornament with the lamb and the mirror? So adorable! I should give it all to my cousin, but I'm keeping the cute little plush lamb for myself :)

She also sent a Martini Ornament, Bath and Body Works antibacterial foam and lotion, three hot teas, and Starbucks instant caramel coffee.

Holiday Ornament Swap

I participated in the Ornament Swap with Living in Yellow and Dreaming of Dimples. I received an Ornament from Dani at Faster than Forever. She sent a sweet card and some chocolate candies too!

My mom was by today and she LOVED the dragonfly. It's been a busy weekend. I've been ripping and running from one place to another. Last night J took me to see Trans Siberian Orchestra. He bought the tickets for my birthday in September. I knew I loved their music but I had no idea how awesome the show would be! If you ever have an opportunity to go you absolutely HAVE to see them in concert!

Today we had Stephanie & Chris's Baby Shower/Going-Away Party. It was great to spend time with them before they hit the road. I'm gonna miss them!

Since J is busy with work for the rest of the weekend I'm going to fill a few jewelry orders and work on some craft projects. I'm looking forward to a laid-back day tomorrow.

November Cara Box

So if you haven't heard of Cara Box before, it is a monthly swap hosted by Kaitlyn at Wifessionals.

I signed up in November for the first time, the theme was childhood. I was paired with Sarah from Someday We'll Know.

Sarah e-mailed me while my package was en route to say she'd forgotten a note, and to e-mail her when it arrived so she could explain the contents.

"The smell of the candles made me think of being outside, and you said you liked to play outside as a kid. The hat and gloves were for the same reason... So you can get outside this winter. (:

The phase 10 dice game because you liked to play games.

And red fingernail polish because your favorite color is red and everyone needs a pretty red nail polish!"

My sister was with me when it came and we pretty much immediately decided to see what this Phase 10 was all about. It's a pretty fun Dice Game! I took it to J's and made him play with me too :)

My sister filched the toboggan and gloves (with permission) and we shared the Fun Dip. (Sounds like she should sign-up herself, no?)

I am looking forward to trying out the nail polish, and I let my grandmother have the little candles for her bathroom.

New Mug and a Coffee Date!

So today is the day for linking up what we got from our swap partners! I was partnered with Dawn from LeroyLime and I just LOVE the mug she picked out for me :) 

 She included this great "Sexy" bookmark with a sweet note on the back too! I had a 'signature mug' who's time ran out this week when it was dropped and the handle broke off, so this beauty has taken it's place as my tea mug! I use it every night now. In fact, I'm having my nighttime tea for out coffee date this week in my new mug!

I was going to post a video but I was so busy last night and this morning I never got around to it.

If we were having coffee this week I would tell you how busy I've been! In a good way, but very busy all the same. I'm really excited about the Halloween Party J and I are hosting tonight. It should be a whole lot of fun! I'm also already thinking ahead to my Blanket Making Party for Project Warmth! I think it's going to be a lot of fun and I'm really excited about the idea. Basically I'm staying really really busy right now.

I need to slow down. Actually, I want to slow down but I can't find anything that I want to give up either. Most of what I'm doing just comes with being me, and this busy "almost-holiday' season.
