Review: Bath and Body Works Fall Mini Candle

I've posted many times before about my participation with Influenster.com, but for those of you who are new to SSG, let me tell you a little bit about the program.

Influenster is a website where anyone can create an account and link all of their social media platforms. You unlock badges according to where you are in life and what areas you are most interested and influential in.

For example, my highest badge score is the High Spirits Badge because of my obsession with wine :)

I also have the Beauty Badge and because I have a higher score and am in good standing with the site, I received the Beauty Bloggers VoxBox Last month. One of the items that I received that I was particularly fond of was the mini-candle from Bath and Body Works.

Reviewers received different scents from the Fall Fragrance Collection and I received the White Barn No.1 Nutmeg and Spice scent. I really love this candle. It has a great fragrance that compliments the other scents I use around this time of year. I burn it in the bathroom since it is a smaller space and it really fills the room with fragrance.

I've only used about half of the candle so far and I would guess that I've burned it for a total of 7 or 8 hours, so the 15 hour burn time seems pretty accurate. For only $3.50 I'd say this is a great buy. Perfect for surcee gifts or stocking stuffers!

Review: Not Your Mother's Smooth Moves

I received a 1.5 oz tube of Not Your Mother's Smooth Moves  in my Beauty Bloggers Vox Box.

I love this product. It is definitely my favorite of everything I received. I have been using it almost every day, it really cuts down on my frizz. I love what it does for my hair. It doesn't take much, a little goes a long way with this cream. I highly recommend it. A full size 4 oz. tube retails for about $6, I plan to keep buying this when I run out.

Beauty Bloggers VoxBox

So I recieved my Beauty Bloggers VoxBox at the end of last week, and I was really excited about it! My weekend was pretty busy though so I didn't get around to doing a video until last night.

That's right! I did a video.

This is what I received in my VoxBox.

You're allowed to laugh as much as you want, especially at my pink PJ pants. This is my first video ever! So I've learned that I definitely need to talk louder, and maybe a little slower, and maybe put on some regular pants.

Also, there are "enter your info here" slides at the end that I didn't know were there. Fun times. Oh well, it's my first, I'm allowed mistakes :)

Influenster Relaunch

I know many of you have already heard of Influenster, and may have even joined the fun already. If you haven't, you are missing out!

I've been a member for about 10 months I guess. I've received two Beauty VoxBoxes full of great new products, many of which I've fallen in love with!

Influenster is a great community for people who love to try new things. It isn't just for bloggers! If you use social media in anyway, this can be for you!

The new Influenster layout requires that you be invited to join. You can go to the website and request an invite, or you can leave your e-mail in the comments and I'll send you one ;)

Once you have an Influenster account you simply begin to complete the tasks! Connect your facebook, twitter, pinterest, & website. The more you connect the higher your score!

Then there are the LifeStyle Badges. These are the badges for pet-lovers, moms, blushing brides, college students; they all relate to where you are in your life right now.

Then there are the expert badges! These are the badges you unlock by sharing your interests, and the topics you are well versed in. For example, one of the first badges I unlocked was the 'High Spirits' Badge. I can log in and review wines and share review pages for my favorites to increase my Influenster score. 

The new expert badges are great because they let you know exactly how you use your social media account to increase your score!

I am super excited because I got my pre-qualified survey earlier this week for the Fall 2012 Beauty Blogger VoxBox. I should find out today if I'm in or not. 

I love this program. It's a great way to try new products for free and discover new brands to add to my routine!
